Swisspor, a leading manufacturer of insulation and sealing technologies for the building and construction industry, celebrated inauguration of its new building.
The launch included 2 gala events of a new building at the headquarters of Swisspor in Steinhausen building near Lucerne, Switzerland.
The events were attended by approximately a 1000 people. They also included a dinner and a show by the popular Pepe Lienhard Orchestra.
Matthias Kern of Kernfusion design GmbH, based in Switzerland was responsible for the lighting and media design, operation and programming.
Kern used Compulite Vector Blue and Vector motorized playback wing for the event.
At the back and to the sides of the stage were three scenic elements constructed from different Styrofoam shapes, closely suitable for lighting and projections. Kern used 2 of the DigitalSpots 7000DTs positioned each side of the stage to throw projections onto the two 15 meter Styrofoam wings flanking the stage. The Styrofoam elements forming these two wings resembled giant asymmetric kaleidoscopic patterns, a bit like cell structures.
Kern used 2 Compulite ePorts to connect (via Artnet) to the 4 Robe DT 7000.
Kern used the Vector to upload images to the Robe DigitalSpots
The show was run on separate Cue lists. One Cue list was for the Effect and Whitelight. The Cue List on the motorized Playback wing was used for the Band to have faster access to Effects, Moves, color changes and more.
Kern matched the Digital spots projections with the Styrofoam walls using some of Robe's Digital spots projected images features. This produced a compelling dynamic 3D effect. Compulite's Vector Blue was used to program and play the various elements of the show.

The lighting rig included:
Compulite Vector Blue
2 Compulite ePorts
Compulite motorized playback wing
4 Robe DigitalSpots DT7000
