Vibe lights up Radio Italia Live concert in Milan

The Radio Italia Live Concert took place in Milan, piazza Duomo, on Friday the 30th of May 2025.
The event is the biggest free-entry concert, offered every year by the main Italian radio company to all its public. This year there were over 25,000 people who participated. It is also broadcast on many TV and web channels.
It starred a total of 12 artists, among the most known national singers, each one playing 3 songs and in addition a live orchestra. All together played for a total of 4 hours of live concert.
Virtual Lighting managed the stage project and the lighting design, thanks to the cooperation between the director of photography Ivan Lavezzoli, the lighting designers and operators Lorenzo Pagella and Luca Fabiani, and the operator and assistant Gaetano Di Natale.
The stage project was based on curve trusses and curve LED screens, while the lighting design choice was to use all Laser source fixtures for the beam effects and LED fixtures for the wash lights.
This concept was meant to highlight the contrast between the curve elements and straight lines made by the beams.
The lighting effects were managed by a Compulite Vibe networking system made of 1 Vibe console, 1 Vibey console and 1 Vector PB20 Wing extension.
